Health Business Blog week in review March 25-31, 2013

The week of March 25, 2013 was quieter than usual for the Health Business Blog due to the Passover and Good Friday holidays. Still, there was time to write about health care policy and cultural topics.

  • Who's in the dark about complementary therapies? examined patient and physician attitudes toward combining the medical model with additional approaches
  • Should we die like doctors do? noted that some physicians use less end-of-life resources than the population as a whole, but questioned whether their approach should be emulated
  • Don't worry, ObamaCare won't kill 99 cent value meals reported (with relief) that restaurant chains are backing way down from their prior assertions about the cost of the Affordable Care Act to them
  • On Friday we announced that the blog is migrating to a new platform, which should improve the reader experience, especially on mobile devices. The migration is targeted for completion on Monday, April 1 but please be patient if it takes a little longer.
