Three big wins for RelayHealth
Doctor/patient messaging company RelayHealth is making strong progress in persuading health plans to provide reimbursement for its structured, clinical webVisits and in encouraging physicians and patients to use the system. In the past few days, Cigna HealthCare, Aetna, and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield have all signed significant agreements with RelayHealth.
The service “can make consumer access to their doctor easier, help improve the doctor’s office workflow and compensate physicians for their services,” said Dr. Jeffrey Kang, Cigna HealthCare chief medical officer.
