Hope I die before I get senile
It’s not exactly shocking that people with Alzheimer’s are often irritable and difficult to be with. Don’t you think you’d be a little agitated if you were losing your mind? The great hope for these patients in recent years has been to give them antipsychotic drugs, indicated for schizophrenics.
Turns out those drugs don’t work for most patients, according to a new study. Some doctors still suggest giving the drugs a try since there aren’t many alternatives.
