Podcast interview with Dr. Paul Grundy (Part II)

In Part I of my podcast interview with Dr. Paul Grundy, Director of Healthcare Transformation at IBM and President of the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative (PCPCC) discussed principles behind the Patient Centered Medical Home, IBM’s interest in the topic, and how Denmark and Sweden were approaching primary care. In Part II, Dr. Grundy provides examples of medical homes being rolled out in large and small practices in the US. He also argues that the transformation of health care today is comparable to the transcontinental railroad and the arrival of the horseless carriage. Finally, we talk about his relative’s role in the War of 1812.
