Harvard Pilgrim CEO Eric Schultz speaks with the Health Business Blog (Part 3 of 4)

Recently I sat down with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC) CEO, Eric Schultz for a wide-ranging discussion on the health care business. In this third of four segments Eric and I discuss the practicality of narrow networks in a supply-constrained environment, transparency on cost, quality, service and safety, and how health plans can engage with consumers and referring physicians.

HPHC has been named the top health plan in the US seven years in a row by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), so a lot of people in the industry are keeping a close watch on what Eric and his team are doing.
