Patrick Kager is a co-founder of MedPharma Partners and Health Business Group. He has over 15 years of consulting experience working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and health care organizations. Before his current role, he was a Partner in Deloitte Consulting’s Life Sciences practice. There he led creation of the firm’s pharmaceutical R&D and M&A market offerings while serving as lead client service partner for several top-10 pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Before Deloitte Consulting, Pat was a senior manager in the Boston Consulting Group’s health care practice.
Pat has successfully completed over 100 client engagements in the areas of corporate strategy, product development and commercialization strategy, R&D management, manufacturing and supply chain management, sales and marketing effectiveness, mergers and acquisitions, business process design and IT strategy. He has authored several articles for Harvard Business Review, Pharmaceutical Executive, and other journals examining topics of interest to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and providing practical guidance to managers facing difficult business situations.
Pat holds a BS in electrical engineering and mathematics and an MS in computer engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and earned an MBA with Distinction from Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School of Business Administration. He also holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
