Heidi Schwartz is an experienced researcher who has worked in the fields of education and healthcare with consumers, providers, and organizations. She began her career at Strategic Marketing Corporation outside Philadelphia, where she worked on multi-national market research studies for pharmaceutical companies. Heidi conducted market segmentation and product positioning studies for pharmaceutical products in the development phase. Through qualitative and quantitative research with physicians, patients, and families she helped clients understand the market impact of potential new dosage strengths, delivery systems, and product labeling.
In addition to her work in healthcare, Heidi has also consulted with non-profit organizations seeking to understand best practices in engaging young families. As part of a team of professionals from Brandeis University and Child Trends she conducted a two-year study of the associations between Jewish early care and education and Jewish engagement. Heidi authored a literature review, conducted qualitative research with parents and professionals, and completed a case study of an early engagement program. With the Harold Grinspoon Foundation she developed a set of engagement guiding principles that demonstrate how programming drives families’ Jewish engagement.
Heidi holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College where she studied French and linguistics. She received her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of Miami.
