Private insurance exchanges: Interview with Liazon's Michael Karp

Liazon's Bright Choices is a private insurance exchange that lets employers offer employees the opportunity to shop for a wide range of benefits. In contrast to the usual one-size-fits-all approach, a private exchange provides much more variety and the chance for employees to customize their benefits.Liazon  just entered the Inc. 500 list of  fastest growing companies, so obviously something is going right. In this podcast interview Liazon's Chief Revenue Officer, Michael Karp explains what Liazon does and how it differs from public exchanges being set up under the Affordable Care Act. He also describes how Liazon's approach of working closely with brokers and offering multiple health plans contrasts with the strategies being pursued by Array Health and Bloom.
