Can your email do this?

A Canadian study found that people who received weekly e-mail reminders to eat healthy and be active were more likely to exercise and lose weight than those who did not receive the reminders, Reuters/Yahoo! News reports... During the 12-week study, those who received the healthy habit e-mails exercised more, knew more about health benefits and reduced their body mass indexes.

It sounds like an impressive result, but then it got me thinking. If 1 email a week has this kind of effect, what is the impact of the 100 plus perverted spam emails many people receive every week?
