GM/UAW agree to cut retiree health benefits

GM and the United Auto Workers agreed on a deal to cut retiree and employee health care costs, according to an alert from the Wall Street Journal. As I've mentioned before, the centrality of health care costs to the financial viability of GM is a preview for the US economy as a whole.
