Taking on granny

Like taking candy from a baby, right? The federal budget tilts increasingly toward the old as Medicare continues to grow while children's programs get squeezed.How about if we got rid of means testing for Medicaid --at least for kids-- and put means testing in for Medicare instead?At a bare minimum, we should add what Medicaid pays for Medicare-eligibles in nursing home fees into the Medicare budget to make it plain just how much so-called "seniors" are consuming of the federal purse.
