I'm blogging from the World Health Care Congress

I'm blogging today and tomorrow from the World Health Care Congress in Washington, DC.  It's an interesting group of high-powered speakers here. Of course that doesn't mean they necessarily have all the right answers. You can see my posts from today:Craig Barrett on what employers can doBarrett says that the health care system ignores consumers, but I suggested to him that the problem with his logic is that MDs are the consumers in health care, not patients.Employer Demands for Health ITEmployers are striving to make a difference in health care adoption, hoping they can do more than the government. But let's remember that the biggest employers in most regions are state and local governments and of course hospital systems!
