What you should do if bitten by a cardiologist

As I wrote yesterday, from the perspective of the radiologist:

Collaborating with a cardiologist can at times be like collaborating with a rattlesnake.

Fortunately, MedPage Today has an article on what to do.The bottom line?Don't:

  • Suck the venom out
  • Apply a tourniquet
  • Apply ice

Do:

  • Get to the hospital or clinic ASAP and ask for anti-venom (but be on the lookout for cardiologists of course.)
