Goodbye, Rose Finkelstein

I saw it in the Boston Globe today: Rose Finkelstein has passed away at the age of 101. Rose started off as a nurse's aide at Beth Israel in Boston in the 1940s and worked there until 1976 when she retired at age 70. But she kept coming back as a volunteer and the hospital eventually created an award in her hour. She was still going strong until recently. BI's president, Paul Levy has more on Rose at his blog.I remember seeing Rose the few times I've been to the maternity floors on the BI. She would have been 99 the last time I saw her, still helping out. Amazing.
