Too bad there's no inhaled insulin to go with it

FDA has approved Abbott's continuous glucose monitoring system, which provides more information on a patient's blood glucose levels than periodic finger sticks. When used in conjunction with an insulin pump it should enable better control of insulin levels.It's too bad Pfizer and Lilly have abandoned inhaled insulin, which would have provided a less invasive alternative to use alongside the continuous monitor.
