Diabetes Reloaded

Amy Tenderich from DiabetesMine sent a link to a hip new video entitled Diabetes Reloaded. It documents progress in diabetes from when it was a death sentence through the discovery of insulin and emergence of the first (not very user-friendly) monitoring devices to more modern and usable systems. It emphasizes the role the Internet is playing in empowering patients and enabling partnerships among people to replace icy relationships between patients and institutions.Of course Amy is a big part of this movement.Read more here and check out the video.
