LifeBridge: 10 years of providing free life insurance to eligible families

Hank Stern over at InsureBlog writes about the 10th anniversary of LifeBridge, a MassMutual program that provides $50,000 in free life insurance to families that qualify. Hank's been following this program for several years and is pretty impressed with it. You can read the full story here.Basically, the program is open to parents aged 19 to 42 who make under $40,000 and are legal residents. If a parent dies the insurance payout covers tuition, books, or room and board for the kids. The parents have to pass medical underwriting so it won't work for those at highest risk.
