Massachusetts Governor's race: Health care interview series

Massachusetts is a world leader in health care. The race to replace Governor Deval Patrick this year provides a great opportunity for an elevated and constructive discussion of health care business and policy. These topics are critical for the state Commonwealth and for the US as a whole. So the Health Business Blog is undertaking a series of podcast interviews with the gubernatorial candidates to give the voters an opportunity to hear the candidates' views on the issues and to learn about what concrete steps each candidate hopes to take on health care once in office.Multiple candidates have strong health care backgrounds. Joseph Avellone is a physician and was an executive at Blue Cross and PAREXEL. Charlie Baker ran Harvard Pilgrim. Donald Berwick is a doctor who ran Medicare and Medicaid. Evan Falchuk led Best Doctors. But I certainly expect other candidates --including Martha Coakley, Steven Grossman, Juliette Kayyem, and Jeffrey McCormick-- to have well-informed positions, too.If you have questions you'd like me to ask the candidates, please use the contact form below, click this link, or mention @HealthBizBlog on Twitter.[contact-form][contact-field label='Name' type='name'/][contact-field label='Email' type='email'/][contact-field label='Website' type='url'/][contact-field label='Questions for the candidates' type='textarea' required='1'/][/contact-form]----By David E.
