Interview with Convergent Therapeutics CEO Dr. Phil Kantoff

Phil Kantoff grew up in New York City before entering the 6-year medical school program at Brown and spending the first few decades of his career as scientist. oncologist and physician leader at Dana Farber and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Now he’s taking a turn as CEO of Convergent Therapeutics, a clinical stage startup company bringing a new approach to the deployment of radiopharmaceuticals for certain cancers, starting with the prostate. In this episode of the HealthBiz podcast, Dr. Kantoff shares the fascinating results of Convergent’s work and discusses the potential to combine Convergent’s technology, synergistically with existing treatments.

He’s also a diehard New York sports fan, but if he does cure cancer I’ll forgive him.
