"Down in the Valley" --or-- "Bad Blood in Iowa"

Cedar Valley Medical Specialists is suing Covenant Medical Center for naming its new medical development Greater Cedar Valley Medical Center, according to Modern Healthcare. The physician group alleges that the hospital is infringing on the group's trademark. For good measure, they also allege that Covenant is withholding staff privileges, ending call coverage and upcoding charges to drive the group out of business.In case you were wondering, both the hospital and the physician group are located in Iowa's Cedar Valley.
